Breathe-Easy provides a gas permeable seal for microwell plates. Plates covered with Breathe-Easy allow a uniform rate of oxygen and CO2 exchange across the membrane. Promotes contaminant free growth of cell cultures, cellular based biological and immunological assays, cell selection and cell screening.
Plates covered with Breathe-Easy membrane can be inverted and agitated without cross contamination samples. Adhesive is FDA approved and will not interfere with human fibroblast cell growth and division. Resistant to most organic and caustic agents and withstands temperature from -80°C to 100°C.
Easy to use. Remove release liner, roll brayer several times in all directions to loosen protective top layer and peel away top layer.
Removable, not reusable.

ThermalSeal A sealing films are an advanced version of Excel Scientifics classic ThermalSeal A sealing films for PCR. ThermalSeal A films consist of 50 mum thick clear polypropylene with a thicker 50 mum layer of a stronger adhesive formulated for improved protection against evaporation and leakage during thermal cycling. Intended for non-real-time PCR applications ThermalSeal A films are designed to fit inside the edge of raised-rim PCR plates and provide more secure sealing of all wells because the center of the film does not extend over the plate rim. Two end tabs allow for easy positioning of the film on the plate but are perforated for easy removal if necessary.Each film measures 77.8 x 135.5 mm overall. Length between the perforations with end tabs removed is 118.1 mm. Clear adhesive film, strong adhesive, peelable, suitable for PCR and optical applications Our PCR Seal is a durable transparent polyester film with a strong adhesive layer. The seal enables a high integrity and efficiently prevents sample evaporation. It is recommended for PCR, qPCR, and other optical applications (e.g. fluorescence or colorimetric measurements) as well as sample storage. The PCR Seal is also available in two flexible formats with perforated sheets, to enable tearing into 8 well and 12 well strips, respectively as well as in half plate size format to be used with our FrameStar® 192 Well Semi-Skirted PCR Plate.
